MEDIEVAL MARVEL

The term "Good things come in small packages" is an understatement for this chapel in Paris. The roof consisted of royal blue with golden stars painted all over it with arches meeting at the centre, and the most intricate painting on every surface visible was offset by the most spectacular stained glass windows you can imagine. Sainte Chapelle was a marvel of its time due to the structure being primarily glass and is still a marvel today - I was totally blown away by it. My photos are all unfortunately a poor representation of how incredible it is - I recommend googling the name - it will blow your socks off!

Due to the fact maintenance work was being carried out in the space, and the bad weather, it was reaaaaally dim in there meaning the panorama function on my camera went on strike, leaving me with some pretty….interesting photographic accidents – here are two of said accidents which at least give an impression of the interior of the building!
