Gilded Glory

In response to the Weekly Photo Challenge: Intricate

There was no place so spectacularly dripping in gold as this - the Opera Garnier in Paris. I was gaping the whole time we wandered around it, with my Dad grinning from ear to ear and my Mum laughing in surprise every time we walked through another doorway into yet more gilding. It was amazing and this photo doesn't even do it the justice it deserves!

Clickedy click here to find the two other photos I’ve posted of this building…now that I’ve rediscovered my holiday photo stash, I think there may be a slew of them coming 😀

Apologies again for inconsistent posting at the moment – it’s crunch time at university right now and I am too disorganised to juggle two things at once!

Hope everyone is fine and dandy 😛
