I took this picture looking up from within one of the coolest places I have been in Australia - named
I took this picture looking up from within one of the coolest places I have been in Australia – named “The Grotto”, it was 22km from Karratha (which is 22kms from THE MIDDLE NOWHERE). The cliff face was broken and jagged, but interestingly angular and shadowed. This place was essentially a huge pothole that fell far down, hiding a gorgeous, green little oasis. It was so surreal to be standing in a cool and quite paradise while around us was a vast and dry landscape!
