Splendorous Surrounds

Another shot of stained glass from my trip to Paris – inside the wondrous Sainte Chapelle. It was painted the most vibrant reds and blues and the roof – oh, the roof, was a gorgeous display of golden stars. The whole space , while small when compared to the likes of Notre Dame – resplendent! I would visit it again in a heartbeat, partially in order to appreciate the details like this stained-glass nook.
