Otherwise, here are a few more shots of the insides of this pretty spectacular place. Again apologies for the fuzziness – inside lighting does not mix well with my little Fujifilm camera!
If you are going to sleep, why wouldn’t you want it to be in a bed like this? This was one of those rooms that had my jaw hanging open in shock at the level of opulence displayed.
Another one of this room, because it was that cool.
A bit blurry, but you can get a good idea of the intricacy of the work in this roof.
I adored the pretty decoration in this room – the roof was so gorgeous!

While there were many intricately painted doorways in this chateau, but I did enjoy the simple elegance of this panelled room!
