This week’s offering for TJ’s Household Haiku Challenge; a short reflection on the impossible search for perfection:
Followed the book and
baked the ‘Perfect Cake’ – I thought
It a trifle dry.
If you like the paper-design, I have made umpteen more, some of which I post on this blog under the “DIY adventures” tab at the top of the page, or you can check out my designs on my personal pinterest board!
Very cool. A great recipe for a haiku! Love the artwork too! Is it your one of your own creations?

Yes indeedy – a few years old, but still one of my favourite paper designs so far; can’t go wrong with a tea-party haha 😀

I love your artwork as well as the haiku. What tastes delicious to one person, may be as you say, a bit dry to another.
