HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EVERYBODYYYYY! This is not a photo post, but an announcement. I KNOW, ISN’T IT EXCITING?! No, you say? Oh…oh well, here I go anyway…
I have been a bad blogger these past few months and have not posted nearly so consistently as I would like – hence I am going to try something radical…at least, I find it radical….each day of the week, I will have a sort of theme to work to, as a focus for posting! If anyone would like, they can follow along with this and post links to their own photos or posts in the comments…but, you know, only if you want – I just like to see other peoples’ awesome stuff.
So here is a gallery of my themes, which I have alliterated because alliteration is awesome – and I’m a cheeseball:
Monday is a funday, so make it your own! Find an image of something that you found interesting or inspiring and post it with a little caption telling your reader what made that image special.
Any pictures of specific places you have been can make their show here – I have a bit of European and Australian travel under my belt, but would love to see some other parts of the world too!
Got a flower fixation? You are not alone. Post any picture you have of a flower in your garden or out and about that you thought was eyecatching and we can all be overcome by the prettiness together!
I often have photos that have visually unusual elements that work well together but don’t know exactly how to post them; every Thursday I post a gallery of images that are interesting for one reason or another. Do they look mysterious? Are they all awesome close-ups? You decide your theme, or use the same one as me, and post a gallery.
Everyone loves a cute dog, fluffy duck….or perhaps a creepy crawly insect. Whatever animal floats your boat, post an image of an animal that appeals to your aesthetic senses.
I’ll post my entry for the Weekly photo challenges on either Saturday or Sunday each week, and whichever day is free will be a day wherein I post my response to a Haiku Challenge hosted over at TJ Paris’ blog where you post a photo and write a haiku to the given theme. I’ve had real fun doing it in the past, so I hope you like a quick bit of poetry!
I’m going to give this a go for a month, tagging each post with the daily theme and if I fail at this too, will go back to posting basically whatever the heck pops up when I search through my photo archives. HOORAY FOR TRYING THINGS 😀
