THEME THURSDAY: FOCAL POINT
This week, I take a look back at some of the photos in which I picked a particular feature and focussed on its colour, turning the surrounding view black and white hoping to create a focus in an image that might otherwise have been less striking! I don’t do this often, but I like the interest it adds 😀
This birdy on a Mandurah beachside was so absorbed preening himself that he didn’t notice me up close taking pictures. He was a very vain little bird, but made for an interesting photo!
While on a cruise down the Canal Saint Martin while holidaying with my parents, we passed by the funky “OK cafe”. A simple snapshot of a wonderful sightseeing journey 🙂
I guess in Paris, anything is possible. As my parents and I stood admiring the view of aforementioned city from a surprising but well worth a visit park – ‘Parc des Buttes Chaumont’ – the little house from Disney/Pixar’s UP flew high above the city. While it may in reality have been a cheap ploy by the neighbouring Disney World to make kids nag their parents into going there, I was nonetheless charmed. I think the bonus bird chillin’ on top of the building makes me love the memory all the more!
