Inner City Living

MISC MONDAY

Perth isn’t known for much except beaches and landscapes (which are pretty great things mind you) but in recent years the city has received a few cool updates. The State Library, nestled between the old Treasury building and some super-modern skyscrapers, is one of these cool new additions. The massive windows on the bottom level reflect the old architecture that surrounds it and make for a really interesting urban landscape!

European minimalist modernism and good ol’ fashioned architecture reflected in the windows – an excellent view if you ask me!

A muted-colour close up due to the shocking lighting of an overcast day – still pretty enough for me.

May your week be filled with interesting juxtapositions – nothing like an unexpected combination to bring a fresh perspective!
