Dare to be a Daisy

These little buds may not be formed so perfectly as the pink everlastings that were scattered around the other garden beds at Kings Park, but they sure as heck looked wonderful against the green leaves!

As satisfying as a geometrically exceptional flower or symmetrical stem of leaves may be, the charm of the imperfect appeals to me. There is something a little more relatable in an image of comparatively ramshackle buds – each different shape has something special to add to the composition. Rock on, little flower – you keep doing you 😀
