Little Day Away

Sometimes, a holiday needn’t be international or even very long – a day trip can often be just what you need to recharge the ol’ batteries. Western Australia is scattered around with some very cute little towns; you wouldn’t visit for the hustle and bustle, rather seeking the pretty views and scenery along the drive. My Dad, youngest brother and I set off to explore one day about a month back and saw some very appealing things – these three of many photos I took highlighted the beautiful blue sky.

Blue skies and rust red – that quintessential Australian palette was all around on a recent day trip to Country WA with my Dad and youngest brother. There wasn’t much happening in the little towns, but the weather was beyond lovely ❤
This odd old petrol station was unmanned, meaning we had to work out how to pay for our petrol using the self-service system….despite the difficulty and eerie quietness of the place, it looked kind of cool!
The little red car we drove around in served as a nice match for the red sign – with the sun so bright it all looked quite cheerful.
