I love flowers, but then, who doesn’t? As such, I have created this challenge so we all can swoon at the beauty of them together. Share a link to your posts of flower photos in the comments section of my weekly photo post, which will be the top left post if you click this link, and I’ll share your awesome posts the following Wednesday – it’s as simple as that 😀 Link back to this challenge page if you like, but you don’t need to; it’s just great to see lots of different takes on the theme!
Here are some examples I’ve posted in the past to get your photographic eyes attuned to the particularly petally gorgeousness of flower photography – good luck 😉
My second shot from this year’s Kings Park Wildflower festival – it was incredibly lovely, and now that I have a few more months experience under my belt photographically, I managed to get more of the shots I actually was aiming for; hooray for learning! This particular flower stood so tall and straight that it really caught my eye.
I always find that no matter what I have posted in the past, I have come back to these pink Australian wildflowers as a pretty addition to my blog 🙂
Native Australian flowers like this are my favourite – they are beautiful and hardy little plants, so when the ones growing in my Parents’ front yard, I had to take photos! I liked the off-centre focus of this one.
Yellow is such a bright colour that I had to take a little picture of these odd little wildflowers at Kings Park.
I took this photo in King’s Park during the wildflower festival and due to me accidentally using the wrong settings on my camera, something went all funky with the lighting so I decided to go a little arthouse and muck around with colours. ANYWAAAAAY, whatever I did on the day, the end result reminds me very much of fireworks!
