Versailles holds a great many wonders, but I find myself remembering with the greatest fondness the little faux-farm dreamt up by Marie Antoinette. The weather was so blissfully still when I was there with my parents that the little pond looked like glass, making for one of those photos you couldn’t have planned better 🙂
Much as I would like to take all the credit, thank the genius of the landscapers responsible for the Versailles Gardens – every view was unbelievably charming!
